OpenClaw is an open, self-hosted agent framework focused on tool execution and automation. PaLLi is a hosted companion product focused on long-horizon conversation: memory, subtext-aware understanding, proactive follow-ups, reminders, and a dashboard that lets you control what is remembered.

The main product is hosted. There is separate local-only development work, but the public cloud version is the managed service with billing, dashboard access, and hosted memory.

Replika and Character.AI lean into roleplay. PaLLi is built as a companion-grade productivity system: continuity, follow-through, and tool support - while still being natural to talk to.

Yes. PaLLi can look things up in real time and summarize what it finds into a neutral, readable context block. If you send a link, PaLLi can also fetch and summarize that page directly.

Yes. PaLLi can detect reminder intent in natural language (for example, 'remind me tomorrow morning') and schedule follow-ups automatically.

To a degree. PaLLi uses communication analysis to infer intent and tone and will often catch subtext (hesitation, indirect asks, stress cues). It is not a therapist and it cannot diagnose mental health - it will ask clarifying questions when it is unsure.

Not yet as a public cloud feature. Today, PaLLi is optimized for long-term context, reminders, identity-aware conversation, and research. Tool execution and a skills system are planned upgrades, but they are not part of the current public surface.

When follow-ups are enabled for your account, PaLLi uses timing signals, loose-thread context, and engagement guardrails to decide when outreach is appropriate. You control consent, quiet hours, and frequency so it stays helpful instead of noisy.

PaLLi is an AI - it will sometimes misunderstand context, get timing wrong on proactive messages, or give incorrect information. It's not sentient; it's sophisticated pattern-matching. During early access, it's Discord-only (other platforms coming later). It also won't work without an internet connection.

No. Your conversations are stored in a private memory system used only to personalize your PaLLi experience. We do not sell your data or use it to train foundation AI models.

Your data is stored securely on our servers to enable the memory features. We have system logs for debugging but don't actively monitor conversations. We never share or sell your data. You can delete everything at any time.

Yes. You have full control via the web dashboard to view, edit, or wipe your long-term memory database at any time.

Discord remains the core surface today. Voice and image understanding are in active testing, while broader platform support, web chat, and deeper tool workflows remain roadmap items after the cloud experience is more polished.
